Charlotte is pledging to swim 5 miles in July for American Cancer Society. From a pediatric cancer patient to a kick ass swimmer with Executive's team - the convergence of these two things hits so very close to home.

When Charlotte came out of surgery to remove the tumor from her spine on October 8th, 2020, her doctors were unsure if she'd ever walk unassisted again. We were discharged from Boston Children’s Hospital two and a half weeks later, after starting a rigorous chemotherapy plan and some gut-wrenching sessions of inpatient PT. She had a walker but was not strong enough to support herself and our previously ultra-independent four-year-old was back to crawling where she needed to go.

Fast forward four years - Charlotte swam in her first competitive swim meet, and in her first season, qualified in four separate events for the New England Swimming Silver championships and placed in the top ten for multiple races.

There were a lot of incredible milestones in that time frame, with help from the best of the best, but at the end of the day, swimming has brought out a side of Charlotte we never thought we'd get to see. Please support our efforts in raising money for this cause we're so passionate about through an avenue that has brought a tremendous amount of joy (and strength) to our little lady!
