Swick Keeton Family flood relief

Hello, my name is Molly and I am fundraising for my dear friend Katie. We met in college I have been lucky enough to call her friend for over 25 years. She wears many hats...not only is she a friend, but she is also a daughter, sister, mother, and kindergarten teacher. She and her daughters Juniper (13) and Ivy (5) live in the heart of downtown Montpelier, Vermont and have been deeply affected by the flooding that occurred there on July 11 & 12, 2023. Their home sustained massive damage and will need extensive repairs to make it livable again. They are trying to clean their clothes and bedding, although lost most furniture, all of their beds, as well as the kitchen cabinets and the bathroom cabinets. Her flood insurance covers the structure, but her homeowners insurance will not cover the contents of the home, due to an exception for floods. They are looking for money for an insurance deductible, with any additional money being used to repair their home and replace its destroyed contents.
