Support Jason's Fight Against Lymphoma

Hi everybody, this is my husband Jason.
Recently, he was diagnosed with Stage 3 Classic Hodgkin’s lymphoma, and our world has been turned upside down.
But our story began very differently. About five years ago, a relative of mine introduced me to Jason at a volunteer event at a local church in Washington. I didn't think much of the interaction at first—just that I met a charming boy who seemed a little shy. Weeks later, I found myself sitting near him at church, and out of nowhere, a thought crossed my mind: “He will be your husband.” I laughed, thinking it was ridiculous—how could someone I didn’t even really know, and who seemed to have no interest in me, possibly become the love of my life?
Then in 2022, fate brought us back together at our church conference, where we happened to be serving side by side. That weekend, I learned Jason had recently gone through a painful breakup, and I decided to reach out—honestly, I didn’t expect him to reply. But when he did, I was stunned. I was convinced he wouldn’t want to talk, especially given everything he was going through. Yet, our texting grew into phone calls, which turned into hangouts, and then into dates. Before we knew it, we were inseparable. On August 21, 2023, Jason proposed, and ten months later, on May 25, 2024, we proudly said “I do.”

Life as newlyweds was beautiful. We cherished every moment, making the best of whatever challenges came our way. We loved discovering each other's quirks and adjusting to our new life together.
But then, in November 2024, Jason suddenly got very sick. The doctors couldn’t pinpoint what was wrong—diagnosing him with a lung infection, as his symptoms puzzled them all. Initially, antibiotics seemed to help, but the fatigue and pain refused to go away.
In January 2025, we faced a difficult moment as I traveled across the country on New Year’s Day to see my grandfather before he passed.
The beginning of the new year, during this tough time for our family, was when Jason found the first lumps, and everything changed. He began to rapidly lose weight—more than 60 pounds in just four months—and could barely manage to eat one or two meals a day. New symptoms appeared, and nothing seemed to help.
By March, we knew we had to seek more answers. We went to the emergency room, and after a biopsy, we received the news—his diagnosis was confirmed: lymphoma.

Our marriage, less than a year old, has already been shaken by this devastating crisis. All of our savings, meant for our dream honeymoon, are now being used just to keep us afloat—the bills, rent, medical expenses—all piling up. We’re surviving on my part-time income, barely making ends meet.
Today, I ask for your support. Every dollar donated will go directly toward medical costs—hospital bills, transportation to treatments, and essential living expenses such as rent and groceries that we can no longer cover alone. Your kindness can give us hope, strength, and a chance to cling to love amidst this storm. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
