Hi, we’re Madison Grimes-Waynes (director) and Niara (producer), both sophomores at The New School. As two Black creatives from Los Angeles, we’re passionate about telling stories that reflect our experiences, and our latest short film, 'Swept', is a surreal thriller that explores intuition, race, and the commodification of Black identity through the lens of a seemingly normal fast food job. What starts off ordinary slowly unravels into something much more disturbing. We’re excited to bring this unique story to life, but we need your support.
