Update: Swee’Pea has had her second round of chemo and will go in for another in 10 days before having a month off.
Everyone at Grape St dog park knows Eddie and Swee’Pea. They are an iconic duo who always have a smile or a sniff for anyone. Recently Eddie thought Swee’Peas glands were swollen so while in for a teeth cleaning the vet ran a test.
The result? Lymphoma.
We will all be sad to see Eddie and Swee’Pea go through this, but maybe there’s something we can do to help. Let’s make this journey a little easier for them. Let’s allow them to celebrate the time they have left without the stress of paying for it.
In Eddie’s words….
Swee’Pea was diagnosed with Lymphoma today. It’s an uncurable fatal form of cancer. Her vet says with treatment her life can be extended up to a year and a half. I am going to to whatever I can to prolong her life. She was given to me when my mom died five and a half years ago. She has been with me through thick and thin. She was with me when I was homeless and living out of my car. I will do anything I can to help her to live out her last days to the fullest. Please donate what you can, I will greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
