Hello! My name is Sara Pagan, and this is Sweetie Pancake. In 2015 my mother, Sofia Pagan, rescued Sweetie from a very abusive situation. And this small lil grey fluff has become the most important part of my mother’s life. I have watched my mom get through the darkest times, just due to this small lil girl. She is the light of our lives. At 13 years old, and a raging 5lb 8 ounces, she has truly become my mother’s caretaker. Especially after my dad passed away. This past Saturday Sweetie became incredibly ill, and is rapidly getting worse. After two nights back and forth to the emergency room they finally have decided to admit her. For years I’ve watched my mother help others. When she had little to nothing she constantly gave, and gave. Constantly leaving her in a horrible place. And never asking for help I feel as if this is a moment I hope I can do so for her, and for Sweetie. This isn’t even the full bill, but anything could bring some relief. Life is incredibly expensive right now. And no one owes us anything. But anything at all is more than I can say thank you for. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
