Hi, I'm John and this is my puppy Elle. Sunday, the 17th of August, she fell off my top stair onto the hardwood floor and broke her leg. It's a compound break in the growth plate, and surgery is the only way to fix it. I have been quoted by an orthopedic surgeon, and the cost is between $5,500-$7,500. I cannot afford this, especially after the bill from the emergency vet. She has been AMAZING throughout this process and adapted well with one working back leg but tires easily.

She is a Blue Heeler/Shepherd mix, and she also has a brother, Bubba, who misses being able to play with his sister. I rescued both after they were left by a family that moved out.

I love this dog so much, and she is so well-behaved. Her favorite activities include chasing the frisbee, wrestling with her brothers, and most of all, catching grasshoppers!

All donations will go towards the surgery and recovery. I am blessed to work for a company that allows me to bring her to work with me while we figure this out and after she gets the surgery.
