Hi everyone!! If you know me, you might know my best buddy Petey, AKA Peachtree, AKA Peedle Dee™, AKA POTUS, AKA Sweet Pete, AKA Pete Feet (and so on). She is having some health issues that I’m trying to get to the bottom of, and it’s been a big stressor for me because she’s my baby and it’s hard to see her like this. I’m experiencing some financial strain from all the vet bills, but I want to do everything I can to get her healthy again. So I’m asking for help from my community ♥️

As a little background story (don’t read if you’re squeamish), she’s 11 and she’s been experiencing chronic vomiting the past few years. More recently, the frequency at which she’s vomiting has increased, she’s lost weight and has developed other GI issues. We got a blood panel and diarrhea panel done for her, tried several different meds, a new food, and in total I’ve spent $900. We haven’t been able to rule out any causes yet. Now they’re wanting to do a fasted blood panel, and if we don’t get answers from that then they want to do an abdominal ultrasound to check for Inflammatory Bowel Disease or small cell lymphoma. As I know more, I will update costs for her treatment plan but as of right now they’re estimating another $350 for her next blood panel.

All in all, thank you so much for the support I’ve already received with this. I am overwhelmed right now with how much love we’re receiving and I’m truly SO lucky to have community during hard times.
