Sweet Ms. Bel

Hi, My name is Michaela Ackermann and I am fundraising for our precious teacher and friend, Ms. Bel - Belami Dufrene.

Our sweet Bel was diagnosed with Ductal Carcinoma in Situ - breast cancer - High Grade. She is scheduling a double mastectomy in the coming months which will put her out of work for next semester.

I am reaching out to her friends, family, and students' families to help lessen the financial stress she is facing.

When Bel contacted me with the news, her biggest worry was her ability to support her two precious sons, Jack, 17 and Noah, 15. Bel is a devoted single mom that relies solely on her teaching income to care for her family. I pray that with our help, she may focus on her health, not her inability to work.
