Please help our lifelong friend, Kelly Grant, and her daughter's family, especially her precious granddaughter, Lylah.
On Saturday, February 29, a carefree day with family turned to tragedy. Kelly's daughter, Lauren, and son-in-law, Wayne, were visiting with family when their beautiful, spunky, rowdy, fearless daughter, Lylah, was playing chase with the other children and fell onto the hot coals left in the fire pit they had enjoyed earlier. She has severe burns on her arms and hands. She was rushed to Thomas Hospital, transferred to USA Burn Unit, and finally to the PICU at USA Women's and Children's. Lylah has already endured several surgeries. She is scheduled for skin graft surgery on Thursday, March 5th. She will remain hospitalized for about a week to ensure the graft takes. Once released from the hospital, Lylah will continue to receive weekly sedated, yet painful treatments to scrub/clean her wounds over the next few months. Wayne works out of town and this sweet, little family needs prayers! It's going to be a long recovery. Please donate to help with Lylah's growing medical expenses.
