This pandemic has been very challenging for most of us, and life altering for far too many. Things we had taken for granted have come front and center now. One thing that can keep us uplifted is the music and performance of Sweet Honey in the Rock. They have been “soul food” during pivotal moments of our lives. Through loss, grief, triumph and struggle, their voices, melody and American Sign Language have been there for us who are privileged to know them.
November 17th marks their 47th anniversary of creating, moving, being, giving, uplifting and expressing humanity. This pandemic has impacted their ability to be with us in person giving all that they have.
In honoring all that they do to shine light where it’s needed, please join me in giving back to them so they can carry on, by and by.
