Help Two Frenchies Get the Care They Desperately Need

Recently, two French Bulldogs were surrendered into our rescue’s care. What we thought would be a routine intake quickly turned into an emergency.

One of the girls arrived severely malnourished, her body telling the heartbreaking story of overbreeding. Her nipples paint the picture of repeated litters, and now, she is far along in pregnancy. Despite her condition, she remains sweet, gentle, and trusting. Right now, we don’t even know if her babies are still alive. What we do know is that she will need a C-section regardless, just to give her the best chance to survive. She is currently receiving urgent medical care at Healthy Pet Hospital.

Her sister, surrendered alongside her, is also in crisis. She is suspected of having pyometra, a life-threatening uterine infection. She will need an emergency spay surgery as soon as possible to save her life.

These girls have been let down by humans before, but they deserve better.

They need immediate medical care.

They deserve to be treated like family, not breeding machines.

As a rescue, we survive solely on donations from our community. Emergencies like this stretch us to our limits—but with your help, we can give these girls the fighting chance they deserve.

Please consider donating to help cover:

• Emergency spay surgery for one girl (pyometra)

• C-section surgery and neonatal care for the pregnant girl

• Hospitalization, medications, and post-surgery recovery

Even if you cannot donate, please share their story. Together, we can show these girls what real love and compassion feel like.

We choose compassion for the owner who surrendered them—but this situation is also a reminder of how the hype and profit around French Bulldogs, combined with a lack of education and care, leads to heartbreak and suffering. Let’s be the ones to rewrite their story.

Thank you for standing with us.

Every donation, every share, every kind word makes a difference.
