Sweet Family Rocked by Emergency- Needing Hugs and Help

This is one of the hardest things I have had to put together as I am not one who usually asks for help.

My name is Hilary Coury and I am the proud mother to a beautiful, intelligent 12year old son named Dylan. Our family has been recently rocked by several tragedies. we had just lost my sons grandmother right before school started and many family members due to Covid. So our stress levels have already been on high!

Unfortunately, our family patriarch was admitted to the hospital last week (Monday 9/23) and emergency surgery was preformed Thursday (9/26) Currently Mike is still at Kaiser and hopefully here shortly we will hear about a release date.

Mike ended up needing a portion of his intestine remove due to sepsis and will have to have a colostomy bag until the next surgery scheduled about six months out. This has left me as the only financial means for our family, as well as, his caregiver, mother to my son and full time employee, in the meantime as it will be a while prior to him being able to return to work or full physical activity immediately.

This has also added a ridiculous amount of hospital bills from this visit as well as needing to secure a means for the upcoming surgery. Along with our normal bill and monthly income being slashed I find us in a predicament. If anyone is able to assist we greatly appreciate it. If you groceries available , a lead on a side job I can do, a referral for an art commission or even someone who needs a trailer- I could use all the hand ups we can get. If nothing else please send positive vibes as the love and support means just as much
