My name is Bethany (from Rancho Cucamonga), and I am the mother of a sweet little girl named Mia. She is the sweetest and most lovable little girl. She brings hope and joy to everyone she interacts with and she is an inspiration to her family. Her needs are great, complex, and unprecedented. But she doesn't let that get her down. She is the most determined and hardest working little girl in the world. That being said, she is a 6-year-old girl who still sleeps in a baby crib, because that is the safest place for her. After over a year of fighting with four insurance companies and gathering extensive documentation from doctors and therapists who feel that a safety bed is necessary, insurance has determined that putting a mattress on the floor and clearing all sharp objects from the room is sufficient.  As her mom and dad, we couldn't disagree more. However, the cost of a bed that will provide safety for her at night and prevent her from aspirating during her overnight feeding is extensive. We humbly ask for your generosity and support in helping her family purchase the bed that she needs to remain healthy and safe. Every penny donated here will go directly to her special needs bed.
