Our grandson Max is in the Nicu in Omaha, Ne at the children’s hospital. Max was 6 weeks premature and he was born with what they thought was Stridors, he spent a couple of weeks in North Platte and was sent home, he came down with pneumonia 2 weeks ago and the Dr referred them to Children’s Hospital, he was admitted last Thursday and they diagnosed him with Laryngomalacia. He is currently on a feeding tube and oxygen. He has trouble breathing and eating, he is aspirating his food, he chokes, his heart rate bouncing up and down and he quits breathing. They are going to be doing surgery but are trying to figure out a plan of action first. Dad and Mom are both with him and not able to work right now. We would like to get them some help paying for gas and food while they are there and the bills at home are going to be piling up.
