Ever since 2018 a Swedish chapter has been organized to walk the Chartres pilgrimage during Pentecost. This year, Sankta Birgittas Pilgrimer of SUK is organizing the chapter and need help with the funding.

The Chartres pilgrimage is a well known 3 day pilgrimage from St Sulpice in Paris to the wonderful Notre-Dame de Chartres in Chartres approximately 100km (~60 miles) away. Where the cathedral stands there has been a church since the fourth century and Catholics have long gone on pilgrims there. Inside the church the veil of the Blessed Virgin Mary is displayed, a worthy place for such a holy relic.

About 12000-18000 pilgrims walk each Pentecost and we expect to be 30-40 in the Swedish chapter. This year we will all go together by buss to France and are in need of help with funding. Therefore we are thankful for every crown we can get. We will make sure to pray many rosaries for all the donors.

The Chartres pilgrimage is well known among Catholics and several pictures and videos can be found just by searching for "Chartres pilgrimage" on the internet.
