Gravestone Memorial

My son Jonathan died age 13 of sudden death epilepsy in 2007, my world was turned on its head. I was alone, vulnerable and left devastated by the loss, he left behind two bothers and two sisters. I decided to save for a beautiful headstone that would honor my sons memory and make him proud that his mummy marked his passing. I am not working myself and so saving was not going to be straight forward or easy for me which made me feel inadequate as parent.

Over time I had managed to save two thousand pounds which was kept in a jar at home. I had met a new partner after my son died who seemed kind and had my best interests at heart however I could not have been more wrong. This man who I had let in during such a difficult period robbed my savings, knowing that they were for my sons grave stone.

I was broken after this but a Facebook friend encouraged me, not to give up and not to let the bad actions of someone prevent the good actions of getting the gravestone installed. This is where I now need you, the cost is 3,000 and I cant do it by myself, so I am asking mums, sons, brothers, sisters and anyone with a heart to help me by donating to this fund. I will keep you posted on its success and put photos up of the gravestone installed for Jonathan-I desperately need your help to honor my son and would be grateful for anything you can donate to help.
