We are trying to raise funds for Lauren and her 2 young children during this difficult time . Her daughter is 7 and her son is just 18 months. She has been in ICU for 3 days on a ventilator and is now being taken by Lifestar to another ICU. She formed a clot in the main vein that fed the small intestines. She had 2 surgeries which removed the vast majority of it. To this day she is still facing another surgery to see if there is still enough small intestines alive to reconnect. She is receiving many units of blood and plasma on a daily basis and has a ICU nurse designated just to her care. She is facing a long road to recovery once she is stable .
