Asking for help isn't easy...

Times are hard for a lot of people, and I know that there are plenty of others who have it even worse than we do. Still, I am acknowledging that we, my family and I, are at a time when we need to ask for help.

The timing of all these issues could not have been worse, and the fact that they all came at once and during a time when both my spouse and I have been having a hard time finding work... you get the picture.

Already struggling to pay our regular bills without a steady source of income, we have been hit with a huge medical bill for a trip to the emergency room, a car that is unsafe to drive, a mouse infestation, and mold growing in our basement. We are now finding that the mold is causing health concerns for the occupants of our house and likely will require several thousand dollars to completely tear apart our finished basement, rendering it unliveable for our downstairs renter.

We are continuing our search for work, but we need to fix these issues asap. We need to get by until we land on our feet.

We are so close to finding financial security again after a long two years of struggling due to COVID turning everything upside down. I can feel it... we just need to get over that finish line.

I am humbling myself and asking for that extra help to get us there.
