Swayze's 2nd Chance F### Cancer

Many of you know my sweet Crazy Swayze. For those of you who don't know Swayze is the most friendly, loving, and licking dog you will ever meet. No one has ever met him that did not love him and that he didn't love. He truly is my therapy dog and has been with us through so much, now it is time to be there for him.

Last week, Friday November 26th we found out our baby has cancer. He has what they believe is a stage 3 mast cell tumor. This is the worst of this type of tumor. Yesterday, November 30 they completed an ultrasound and believe it has spread to his spleen.

The good news, as long as it's only on his spleen, it can still be treated. The money we are asking for will cover surgery to remove both tumors and some of the preventive medication afterwards to help prevent it from reoccurring. This is an extremely aggressive cancer and without the surgery he may only have 4 weeks to 6 months. We have weighed out all the options, we've asked the vet about the risks of surgery and they report that they have completed this with older, bigger dogs who have a more difficult time recovering and believe he will recover well.

We can't just stand by! We have to fight for him! He's literally saved my life. Before I was diagnosed with sleep apnea he would wake me up in the middle of the night because I had quit breathing. I can continue to tell you about how special how he is.
