Hi everyone, my name is Matt Swarbrick, and I am proud to be the Deputy Headteacher at Acton Gardens Primary School. Since joining the school in April 2024, I have been truly inspired by the incredible sense of community and togetherness that defines our school. Acton Gardens is more than just a place of learning—it’s a family, where every child is supported, nurtured, and encouraged to dream big.
One of the things that makes our school so special is our commitment to providing enriching experiences for our children. We believe that education goes beyond the classroom, and we want to continue expanding our offer of trips and experiences, ensuring that every child has access to opportunities that will broaden their horizons and create lasting memories.
This year, we also want to give our Year 6 children the proper send-off they deserve. They have worked so hard and grown so much during their time at Acton Gardens, and we want to celebrate them in style. With your help, we aim to provide:
Unforgettable trips and experiences
Personalised leavers’ hoodies
Beautifully designed yearbooks filled with memories
We know that “it takes a village to raise a child”, and together, as a community, we can make this happen.
To support this cause, I will be running my third marathon in my home town of Manchester. Running is a huge passion of mine, and I can’t think of a better reason to push myself than for the children of Acton Gardens.
If you can, please donate and share this page. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will help make a difference. Let’s come together and give our children a send-off they will never forget!
Thank you for your support!
