Swanson-Dexel Fire Relief Fund

For any of you who have been lucky enough to meet the legendary Swanson-Dexels, you know how it feels to be held by their fierce, tender, and generous care. To be loved by the Swanson-Dexels changes you. This is our chance to hold and love them. 

On Tuesday night, Eric, Sarah, Ocean, Elli, and Phoenix Swanson-Dexel lost their home due to the Santa Cruz area fires. Their home of 15 years was located on the Camp Hammer premises, where they've been camp directors facilitating epic summer experiences for children for over 17 years. Eric has attended Camp Hammer since he was a kid and has spent a total of 28 summers at this special camp in the redwoods—which Tuesday night's fire engulfed in flames. Gratefully, their family is safe—but they lost all of their possessions and home that had been the backdrop for 15 years' worth of birthdays, homeschooling memories, and back porch morning coffees and conversations. 

We're inviting you to join us in helping soften the disorienting blow this past week has brought on their lives. Ocean (the oldest of the Swanson-Dexel girls) gets married this weekend, and we hope to alleviate as much stress as we can so they can solely focus on celebrating in the midst of this devastating week.
