This fund has been established to help offset expenses incurred by our co-worker, Chad Swanson and his family while caring for an injured child.  

Chad was at work in the Gulf of Mexico when his child was gravely injured at home in Washington State.  We were able to get Chad home in a fairly timely manner but, in order to receive top care, his child was transported to a major medical center in Seattle.  

The Swanson family needs our assistance to offset costs not covered by insurance and other costs associated with having a large family away from home to care for a loved one.  

Any excess funds above what are needed for the family will be donated to a charity of the family's choosing.
