bare necessities

As I am sure everyone has heard by now, the fires in Santa Rosa have taken out many homes and unfortunately lives.  My brother is lucky in that respect, he has his family and life, but his home was taken by the indiscriminate fire. 
 In the coming days I am sure there will be services that will help with getting the things they need,  but I am sure not all will be covered and the bridge to help what can be replaced should. Quite frankly I feel helpless in helping them recover in this unimaginable time of loss. Sure, we say that things can be replaced, but the memory that objects hold are real, when things go wrong we just want to go home, but what happens when there is no home to go back to?  I guess all we can do is help rebuild. It starts with everyday things like clothes and the essentials.  This gofundme is for Cory, his wife Julli, his daughter Trinity, son Hunter, and their neice that they have legal custody of Hailey. 
I have no idea what an appropriate goal amount is, so I set it high or is it too low? Anything helps. I am thinking this will help them buy essential items like clothes, food, hygene products, etc.
