Our family is reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for help for someone we love so deeply my sister Michelle.

Michelle is only 31 years old — a devoted mother to two beautiful girls: our sweet 4-year-old, Mila, and our baby, Fernanda, who is just 5 months old. She’s a new wife, a daughter, a sister, and a friend to many. Those who know Michelle know how selfless and giving she’s always been. She has spent years working with children with developmental disabilities and, most recently, as an occupational therapy assistant at a skilled nursing facility, caring for others with the same compassion she shows in every part of her life.

Earlier this year, our family suffered the heartbreaking loss of our father. Just months later, she received the devastating news that she has stage 4 breast cancer. Since then, she’s been fighting with incredible courage while still trying to be the loving, hands-on mother she’s always been.

In October, Michelle married her childhood sweetheart — the love of her life and the father of her girls. Despite everything she’s faced, she continues to hold onto hope, faith, and the dream of watching her daughters grow up.

Michelle has been exploring additional therapies alongside her ongoing chemotherapy and has found an FDA-approved cancer treatment through the Southern California Abdominal Cancer Group that could give her another chance at healing. Unfortunately, each treatment costs $38,000.

We’re asking our family, friends, and community — anyone whose life has been touched by Michelle’s kindness — to come together and support her through this fight. Every donation will go directly toward her treatment and help lift some of the overwhelming financial weight from her young family.
