Hi, my name is Cristina Gonzalez, and I am fundraising for Liz Marin, a close dear friend of mine. We met in 2016 when our daughters became friends in Fifth Grade. Since then, the Marin Family has become more like family to me.

Juan Marin is the Sole provider of the family. He had to leave his position to care for his ailing wife. Liz is battling Stage IV Melanoma of the Brain and is now in Hospice Care.

Liz and her husband, Juan, have eight children ranging from 9 years to the oldest, who just turned 20 years old. Since 2019, she has been battling multiple cancer diagnoses and Radiation and Chemo treatments. This all began in 2019 with Melanoma, then in 2021, was diagnosed and treated for Lymphoma, and in November 2022, was given a terminal Stage IV Melanoma in the Brain.

May 23, 2023, was her Daughter's High School Graduation. That morning, she woke, not able to speak or walk. Her Husband took her to the hospital, where they saw she had suffered two strokes. Since then, she has had difficulty walking, and her speech is delayed.

Medical bills, Utility Bills, and all others have been accumulating, and with Juan not working, they are financially strained. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.
