Support for 18year old Min Seo and her family
Donation protected
My niece, Min Seo Kim is a beautiful ordinary 18-year-old girl who always has a smile on her face and spread happiness to people around her.
Just two weeks ago, she showed me pics of her graduation photos, prom dresses, and she was excited talking about her high school graduation which is coming in just a few months.
She was ready to take her education to the next level as she wanted to study to become a medical radiation technologist.
On March 11th, Min Seo got involved in a horrible accident causing multiple fractures and serious damages to her brain. She got thrown out of the car that her friend was driving by accident. It is going to be a struggle with legal fees to get a car insurance company to cover anything as she wasn't technically got involved in a car accident.
My brother will seek legal advice either way. If there is going to be a substantial settlement with a car insurance company by some miracle, ALL DONATION WILL BE REFUNDED BACK TO DONATORS OR IF THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE, THEY WILL BE DONATED BACK TO OTHER PEOPLE WHO NEED IT.
I will continue to provide updates with backups.
She just went through 6-hour brain surgery and she is currently in an induced coma. Min Seo has a long road of recovery and this will be a difficult fight for her and her family.
I know my brother and his wife (Min Seo's parents) went through most of the savings to fight through the COVID recession and they were working at the sister's restaurant to get back on their feet. At the time of the accident, her mom had to be out of the country for work and she is now on an emergency plane back to Canada. They technically both stopped working to be with their daughter at the hospital and taking care of Min Jae (son) as he is extremely stressed as well.
At the moment, neither my brother nor his wife has any private insurance coverage. There is no clear timeline for her full recovery. Therefore, the upcoming expenses are a huge unknown financial distress in a time of great emotional difficulties.
I am aiming to raise $25,000 but even a $1 contribution with encouragement messages will mean a lot to them at this time.
I have used GoFundMe to support others around me and I would have never expected that I would be writing a story here to ask for your support for my family.
Thank you all for your support and God bless you all.

Update: Hi, I was requested to verify the beneficiary information in the update by GoFundMe. I am writing this to confirm Eunju Lee is Minseo’s mom.
Thanks, Allen
