Souhegan Valley Storm to compete in
Babe Ruth World Series Softball
Souhegan Valley Storm 14U Softball is made up of 14 athletes from Amherst, Bedford, Hollis, Lyndeborough, Milford and Mont Vernon. And for the first time in Souhegan Valley history they have earned the rights to compete in the highest level of competition, the World Series! The bond between these girls and their positive attitude is what has helped them achieve a successful season. Now they have the opportunity to play in the Babe Ruth Softball World Series in Florida. And they are proud to represent the New England Region.
There were only 16 elite teams in the country that were qualified to play. SVS went undefeated at the Barrington Grip and Rip Tournament that earned them the title and championship trophies. Our Storm team took third place at the New Hampshire Babe Ruth State championship, and clawed their way through the brackets at the New England Regionals. Taking 2nd in the region, placed them a spot in the World Series! They have the will to WIN!!
With little time to prepare for the World Series starting next week, they ask for your support in helping them get to their destination. Any donation will be greatly appreciated.
We appreciate your support and will represent you proudly!
Sincerely,
14U SV Storm Softball team
