Hi, my name is Christina Adams. I am raising money for medical/vet expenses for our sweet little girl, Tia. She has an unknown disease that causes her to get very ill with fevers up to 106 degrees. She stops eating completely and we have to feed her with a syringe. She's vomited blood, had bloody stools, and sometimes she gets so weak she can’t even walk. She has come close to dying a few times now. She has been diagnosed with pancreatitis and has to be on a very strict, special diet. Her food is pretty expensive, but the main issue is that our vets have run just about every test that they can and they still can’t figure out what is causing these extremely high fevers and for her to stop eating. They are recommending that we take her to an internal specialist to have more tests run to try to figure out what is causing all of these issues. These tests get very expensive, very fast. We have already spent over $8,000 just in the past year on veterinarian and emergency vet bills. We do not have the money to continue down this path as we’ve already put ourselves in debt just trying to keep her alive. Please consider donating a few dollars so we can take her to the internal specialist and hopefully save her life.
She is such a good little girl. We got her when our daughter was 9 months old and they've been best friends ever since. She is the most patient, sweet, and loving dog we’ve ever met. She even passed the Canine’s Good Citizen test after graduating from puppy and dog training. She's not even 2 years old yet and has been through so many health struggles. We just want to figure out what is wrong with her so we can get her on the correct medication so she doesn't die the next time she gets ill.
