I’ve struggled with what to write here. Many of you are aware of Anthony’s battle right now.

Back in June Anthony contracted pneumonia. He was still feeling some effects of that when Sarah came down with COVID. Of course a few days later, we learned that Anthony was positive as well.

Fast forward two weeks, both of us had tested negative and were rebounding. Out of nowhere Anthony started to decline again, so we went to the ER. Twice. Both time we were sent back, told just rest. Finally, I made the call to get into his regular Dr. We were sent to Baraboo first, where he was admitted with double lung pneumonia. As the days progressed, his care became more invasive until he was ultimately placed on a ventilator. When this happened, one of Anthony’s lungs collapsed, and the stress caused his heart to stop. He was then taken by medflight to Green Bay where he remains now. We continue to wait, and pray that he’ll make a full recovery.

There have been some ups and downs, but we were asked about ways to help. Fortunately, we had just filled our freezer with meat, and we have a stash in our pantry. Our biggest needs have yet to come. I was asked to start a gofundme as a way to help with medical bills when they start to roll in. I have no idea what these will look like, and I struggle to ask for help…. But this fundraiser will go towards any bills and care that he may incur. Thank you all, for every little thing any of you have done for us. We feel so loved. The biggest thing we need right now is prayer. Please continue to pray with us.
