Help Sven get the treatment she needs

Hey everyone,

My name is Dianna and this is my dog Sven, who is my constant companion. She recently was diagnosed with cancer, a spindle cell type sarcoma. I am asking for your help to get Sven the treatment that she needs. Our options are to either amputate or do radiation treatment. These are tough decisions to make so here are the facts...with radiation it would be ongoing and only going to help manage the cancer not cure it, while the amputation will eliminate it with clean margins, and we would get her fitted for a prosthetic to assist her with walking so she does not develop any damaging compensations.

It has been a very difficult few months knowing we will have an even longer road ahead physically as well as financially. Sven is everything to me. She is always there with her wiggly butt and tail wagging, bouncy ears on our walks, and always checking in with me on our hikes in the woods if she gets too far ahead. I love her with all my heart.

Those of you with pets know what it is like to come home to your furry loved one greeting you at the door, with unconditional love. Animals are such a gift to us humans and I cannot imagine being without Sven in my life.
