The Sunriver Veterinary Clinic team is partnering with Animal Balance to spay and neuter pets in the Galapagos Islands! By humanely ensuring that the local pet population doesn't grow out of control, we can protect these beautiful and fragile ecosystems for generations to come.

Getting to the Galapagos isn't cheap! We are sending seven team members to the remote island of Isabela via multiple flights and boat rides, along with donated medications and supplies. Any money we raise will be used to offset the cost of travel (right now, flights are about $2,000 per person, and that doesn't get us all the way to Isabela). Water taxis, buses, and the other legs of the journey are relatively cheap, though - between $5 and $50 per person, typically!

If you can't donate, but have extra leashes, collars, or harnesses, we would love to take them down there for the pets of the Galapagos! Giving owners the ability to safely control their pets will protect the local wildlife.
