Aloha Everyone,
My name is Charlene Tamayori. We have been friends with Wayne, Kimi, and their family for over 30 years. My first interaction, I found out that Kimi was my sorority sister. Kimi (USC Sigma) and I (LB Sigma). When I got the call that Wayne was in the hospital, it brought tears to my eyes. Wayne is always such a positive person, always smiling, and always willing to help anyone and everyone. When Tyler asked him to dance at his graduation party, there was no hesitation; he said yes. Even when we went to the emergency room, although in pain, he didn’t complain, smiled at us, and told us not to worry.
Wayne was recently diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. The hospital bills are already at $60,000 and ongoing. He still needs to undergo chemotherapy, and they are now a one-income family. Kimi is self-employed and is actively trying to get insurance. But the cost of insurance for self-employment is extremely high.
Please keep Wayne and his family in your prayers. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Wayne will overcome this with all of our love and support - Steeler Nation.
