Hello, I’m Alex… if you know me, then you know this is very hard to ask and I’m only doing it because I need help.

So, back in September, I had a horrible wreck that shattered my foot, broke my wrist, multiple ribs, and knocked me out. Luckily, I did have insurance to cover the initial surgery and accident. It’s been almost 4 months, and I haven’t been able to work, and my foot isn’t healing properly, so they want to go in and do another surgery that’s going to take me out for another 3-6 months.

There’s alternative medicine and practices I would rather try before they do the second surgery, but insurance isn’t covering that. I did get another procedure on my hand from a previous accident, and insurance isn’t going to cover the full procedure and the PT. I’ve been barely getting by, and bills are piling up. I have two kids in college, and I can’t even send them money to help them pay for tuition and stuff, so things have been really tough.

I’m a lifelong BMXer and have given back to the BMX community in many ways, just hope and appreciate any help at this time. Thank you and love you all.
