Tyler’s Road to Recovery
Earlier this week, Tyler suffered two unexpected heart attacks. He has been in the hospital since, while doctors tried to find the cause of the heart attacks. After a couple of procedures, it was discovered that one of the arteries in his heart is completely blocked. Doctors are currently trying to map out the best course of surgical action for him, and in the next few days Tyler will undergo coronary bypass surgery to repair the artery and since it’s a difficult blockage to access, it cannot be done robotically. He will most likely be life flighted to either Seattle or Spokane for this major operation.
Tyler and his girlfriend Maddie just recently moved into a house. Tyler is a father to 3 young children. Since this emergency, he has had to quit his job as an iron worker as it is an extremely physical job that he will no longer be able to perform, most likely even after his recovery. His recovery time will be at least several months after he is out of the ICU and finally home and will require a large amount of outpatient care. As a family, we are working together to figure out how to come together to assist with these challenges that Tyler, Maddie & the kids will face in these coming months. Life expenses such as their newly purchased house, utilities, groceries, child support, medical and travel expenses, etc. are building up quickly. ANYTHING is immensely appreciated, including prayers, thoughts, words of positivity and support through this time. Tyler is STRONG and we will carry him through this!
