Suzy Claire abandoned after stroke, Mother of 4 needs help

Hello, my name is Mirene Mbo-Mbida, and I am fundraising for my cousin, Suzy Claire Mpwek Nbang, who lives in Yaoundé, Cameroon.

One year ago, tragedy struck my cousin, Mpwek Nbang Suzy Claire, in Yaoundé, Cameroon. At only 39 years old, she suffered a devastating stroke that left one side of her body paralyzed. Overnight, she went from being an active, hardworking mother to being unable to walk, work, or care for her children as she once did.

The hardest part? Instead of standing by her side, her husband abandoned her when she needed him most.

Today, Suzy Claire struggles alone with her four little children (11, 8, 4, and 2 years old).

All of them are out of school because their mother cannot afford school fees, uniforms, or supplies. They share a single small bedroom in a rented two-room apartment with their 70-year-old retired grandfather, who does what he can, but his small pension is not enough to cover rent, food, medication, and school. Suzy lost her mother when she was only 10 years old.

For the past year, Suzy Claire has lived in constant pain without proper treatment, while watching her children lose their chance at an education. Each day is a struggle for survival.

We are raising $2,600 to bring hope back to this family:

Medical care and medication so Suzy Claire can manage her condition and prevent further suffering

School fees, uniforms, and supplies to send all four children back to school and give them a future

Basic needs (rent, food, electricity) so they are not left homeless or hungry
