Suzi's Birthday !
Donation protected
Dear Family and Friends,
This crowdfunding page is set up in the honour of our dear Suzi's B-day.
At dinner one night I asked her a simple question "If you could ask for something what would it be?".
I did not expect a very clear answer, I solely hoped to get a bit of direction.
Her face brightened: "Why?"
"For no reason".
"Well if I could choose..."
So it started and believe me it was amazing. My heart sang with pleasure as I saw her going on about what "if someone were to buy her something" she would want.
Not long after we both parted to our respective rooms, I told her to get some rest. But she did not listen and about half an hour after I heard a scream "Lucas" followed by a waterfall of laughter as she came running down the stairs. She had just come up with another idea of what she would want "if someone were to buy her something". I do not remember seeing something that made me so intrinsically happy since a long time.
The next day she told me that my daddy used to tell her that sometimes she acted like an excited little kid.
Let's make her a happy and excited little kid on the night of her birthday, let's make her beam with joy.
Although she had many ideas of gifts she would like one particularly stood out, she told me about this hermes agenda that my dad used to have. A beautiful mix of things she loves, her husband, her organizing, a beautiful object that she will be able to keep for the rest of her life.
If we are able to raise more than the set amount we will be able to offer the notebooks that go with the agenda (well yeah it's hermes you've got to buy it all!)
I will handwrite a card with the gift, writing your names so that you can all be here in spirit and I will send you pictures of what is sure to be a wonderful moment.
Thank you,
Lots of Love.
Lucas.
