I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help on behalf of my best friend, Suzie, who was recently diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma at just 45 years old. This diagnosis came out of nowhere and has turned her world upside down.

Suzie is one of the most loving, generous, and selfless people I know. She’s a devoted mother to her teenage son, and everything she does is with him in mind. She’s always been there for others — family, friends, neighbors — and now she needs us to be there for her.

She’s beginning radiation treatments, which will be physically exhausting and time-consuming. Because of this, Suzie will be unable to work, and the financial stress is growing. On top of facing cancer, she’s also trying to figure out how to pay for monthly bills like rent, groceries, utilities, and the medical expenses not covered by insurance.

This GoFundMe has been created to help Suzie focus on healing and spending time with her son — not worrying about how she’ll keep the lights on. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward her essential living expenses during this difficult time.
