A couple of weeks ago on March 17th, Suzette slipped and fell on her back patio steps. The result of this accident has turned into major surgery, requiring that her nose is reconstructed. The bridge of her nose is in fragments and she broke her septum. Unfortunately, the insurance company is only covering a portion of the cost, she will also have out of pocket costs for her emergency hospital visit. In addition to these costs, she will only be receiving 60% of her pay while on California State Disability, she has already been out of work for two weeks and it is estimated her recovery will take several additional weeks. Suzette has been a good friend to so many of us, we are reaching out on her behalf to ask for donations to help her during this trying time. As friends of hers for over 25 years she has been a rock for many of us. It is now time that we give back to a person who deserves it most.
