My name is Suzanne and I have been suffering with Chronic Lyme Disease for most of my life.  This disease will go into remission for many years, then come back worse each time.  In September of 2015, I became sicker than ever before.   I have tried oral antibiotics for 9 months but they have not worked.  My doctors say that the only hope for recovery is to change from pill form to intravenous antibiotics. Insurance, however, will not pay. The treatment is $5500 a month and will take at least a year before I will see improvement.  Because I have been on disability for over a year, coupled with tens of thousands that we have already spent on medical care and medications, my husband and I are completely out of money. Our families have helped as much as they can, but they also have no more to give.  Thirteen months ago I was teaching high school special education. Teaching has always been my passion, and I can't wait for the day that I can go back to my students, all of whom I miss like crazy.  I was enjoying my life with my teacher husband and our beautiful and wonderful son.  
Now, my husband is basically a single dad and my son is growing up without me. As hard as this past year has been on me, I know it has been even worse for those who love and need me..
All the money raised will go to the treatment that needs to start in January.  Right now, however, there is no way to pay for this which means I will just get sicker and sicker.   Currently, I am unable to walk without help or using a wheelchair. I have lost all short term memory.  I also get so confused that often I forget where my husband and son are and what is going on that I have panic attacks.
Please help if you can.  Any amount of money will be appreciated. and every dollar will go towards my medical  bills and IV treatment.
