Suzanne is a survivor, but now needs your help.  She had surgery to remove a glioblastoma brain tumor, without surgery she would have had only a few months to live.  After surgery, came  treatment chemotherapy and radiation.  The tumor left her with the need for physical therapy.

Even with insurance there are cost that must be paid. Now she is in a rehabilitation center and the is co-pay mounting.  

The goal is to have her moved, when Covid-19 allows to a care home near our home, where she can get therapy and more family interaction.  Hopes and prayers are she will be able to be back home.

Upon retiring from teaching headstart, for 25 years, and having  cared for 23 foster children.  Suzanne was not one to retire to reading and watching TV. There was the need for safe drinking water in many places throughout the world.

Suzanne has spent about half of each year since 2007,  teaching hygiene and sanitation and the building of  biosand water treatment filters in rural villages of East Africa.  She and her husband Del have trained groups to help themselves, this work is even more important, since the arrival of Covid-19. 

 She has always been active to help others not thinking such a life changing illness would ever strike.  Your contribution will be greatly appreciated.
