Suzanne Needs Your Help to Keep Her Home

My name is Suzanne Byers and I’m at a loss on what else to do except come right out & ask for help. I’m not good at that, but here goes. For the last 2 yrs, I’ve been living off my mother’s trust account. However, now the money is all gone.

I have applied for energy assistance & was accepted 3 months ago, but the money hasn’t come yet. I’m facing disconnection. I have applied for my Social Security. Still waiting. I also applied for SSI Disability. Still pending.

I have applied at every area agency & church recommended by 211, and then some, for rental assistance of any kind. A couple of them are not taking apps any longer due to no funding. A couple others have run out of funding. I don’t know what else to do.

Friday is my 61st Birthday and I never thought I’d be in this situation at this age.

So… I’m asking for help. Anything will help. It’s got to, or I’ll be looking at eviction on June 5th. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.
