I own an animal rescue in Red Deer, Alberta. Suzanne is my own kitty, so I am not permitted to use the medical discount at our regular vet nor any of the rescue funds for her care. I was in a car crash in November 2024 which has robbed me of the ability to work at my job, so pushing a few more hours in to get some OT for vet bills and emergencies isn't an option for me. These last few months, Suzanne, who I literally laid in the gutter to wrestle out of the wheel of a parked vehicle in the pouring rain 9 years ago, has had some pretty nasty emergencies. First, she got a wicked URI which pushed her eyeball pretty far out of the socket, and now she has a middle ear infection. I have exhausted all of my savings to have her treated, and had to borrow money from a family member in order to have her seen this time. These are the bills I owe for, and I am hoping for some help to cover them, as she is still at potential risk for a polyp, or worse, cancer. If she doesn't respond to this treatment, I am looking at thousands more that I just don't have. Thank you for reading and considering.
