It's hard to put into words how beautiful and kind Suzannah Weening is, to anyone who hasn't crossed her path. To those that have even for just a moment, they already understand that she is very special. Suzannah is a mother and wife in San Francisco, a Photographer, and a Doula and Birth Worker who has worked with so many families. She has been married nearly 25 years to Dean, with two talented and beautiful daughters Logan (13) and Aya (9). Suzannah has always been calm and understanding of others and the first one to offer help to those who needed it. And now she needs our help.

Suzannah was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer and a low grade lung malignant neoplasm.

She dove right into aggressive Chemotherapy treatment immediately and without hesitation. Unfortunately after several infusions she had severe side effects affecting her head, stomach, heart, mouth, bones and muscles, not to mention a deeply disheartened emotional state.

After months of research and education, she has found a team of highly skilled Doctors who will perform a procedure called Intratumoral Immunotherapy and Cryoablation in Mexico City. Along with this she will have a strong and healthy diet, acupuncture, visits with a Chiropractor, Chinese herbal medicine, and practice regular yoga. She is determined to beat this using everything she can. 

She needs to begin treatment on September 16th and funds raised here will go directly to paying for the Intratumoral Immunotherapy and Cryoablation. It is unfortunate that the timing is so urgent, but so is every day for Suzannah. If enough people contribute she will be able to afford this treatment and get started right away.
