Our friend and neighbor, Mike Allen has lived in Salem Maine for over 50 years. If you know Mike, you understand that he has faced many substantial physical and medical challenges in his lifetime. Instead of giving up or relying on others to support him, he has worked hard and pressed on. He has served on the Salem volunteer Fire Department, worked in area mills, and operated his own trash collection business. Mike has recently experienced emergency medical challenges that have slowed even him. He's been hospitalized for about a month, and is now in physical therapy rehabilitation. This means that he has been unable to work, and has been without his usual income, all the while experiencing increased medical and personal expenses. If you could help him with a monetary gift, it would really help him out. He's hoping to be back to work soon, but has some obstacles to overcome before that can happen.
