Funeral Expenses for ALBERTO MARINO
My brother, ALBERTO ANTHONY MARINO, lost his life yesterday, May 6, 2020 at 5am. He was involved in a pedestrian accident in Manassas, Virginia. The accident was a hit and run and currently under investigation by the Prince William police department.
My brother was a good family man. Very involved with his family, his church and his community. He had a long career as an Electrical Engineer which allowed him to provide very well for his family. He was married to the love of his life 30+ years and raised two stepsons and his biological son, before mental illness and alcoholism robbed him of everything he loved in his life, including his grandkids whom he adored.
My brother’s struggle with mental health and alcoholism the last years of his life left him alienated from his family and friends. He was basically homeless and living in a hotel at the end of his life. His family had done everything humanly possible to help him overcome his demons. Although we tried to prepare ourselves for a possible bad outcome, the news of his sudden and tragic death has left us reeling in pain.
His son, JEREMY MARINO, has to now carry the terrible burden of having to bury his father, but the financial burden as well. He was not financially prepared for this unexpected expense.
