Tom's Fight Against Leukemia

To my friends and family,
After a routine physical this past May, my friend, Tom Nguyen was recently diagnosed with T cell positive acute lymphoblastic leukemia, which is an aggressive form of blood cancer.
After 6 weeks of treatment and 3 rounds of chemo at UCI Medical, he will be undergoing further chemo for 5 days out of the month for the following 8 months. After that he will be referred to City of Hope Hospital in LA for a stem cell transplant which will hopefully be his cure.
As he continues his journey to battle leukemia, Tom will be out of work for the next year. This GoFundMe is set up to help alleviate the financial burden of the past and future hospital bills that Tom will have to endure. Even though his family is trying to help relieve the strain as much as possible, they can not do it alone. We are asking for the support needed to help Tom through this hard time to reduce their financial stress.
Tom is a recent grad from Cal Poly Pomona and is currently an Engineer at Arrowhead Products. He’s an energetic and compassionate person that loves to spend his free time at the gym, eating loads of food, and hanging out with his friends. We all hope that he will be able to bounce back from this soon, we appreciate your support, thoughts, prayers, and generosity in these trying times.
