Collab Greenspace for Bronxites

The Bronx Collab is a small business promoting community and collaboration for all Bronxites. Through community focused efforts we engage  professionals, entrepreneurs and community members in activities and learning opportunities. In addition to our services , we also offer a vibrant and resourceful co-working space to advance professional growth, community building, and community economics.  We believe in the power of collectiveness, connection and co-working.  

We are currently working to renovate the outdoor backyard space and convert it into a greenspace that everyone in the community can benefit from. Currently, the backyard is in shambles and the community has used it as a dumping ground.  We see it as the perfect space to use for connecting and collaborating. This green space would be used for outdoor workshops, wellness activities, creative arts sessions and a large portion of the space would be used to create a community garden. The outdoor space can be used by youth, community members, local residents , nonprofits and community based organizations. 

The funds collected during this campaign will be used to assist with overall construction and renovation of the yard.  We will exclusively  
use these donations to  purchase supplies, furniture,  materials and pay fees to ensure that the greenspace  meets NYC Safety Building Codes. Donating to this fund will sow a seed in our business and help  us with taking our work to another level.  As the project progresses we will have opportunities for community members to volunteer with us to physically support with renovations.
