My name is Claire,
Art is a powerful force for healing. It's well documented that creativity can support recovery from both physical and emotional illness. My work combines this therapeutic potential with an urgent environmental mission: to keep waste materials in the circular economy and reuse them in meaningful, community-rooted artistic expression.
What began as mum's litter picking, it quickly became something more profound — I saw the waste not just as pollution, but as a prophecy. A reflection of societal imbalance, and a call for transformation. An awakening and connection to who were truly are. I believe that through reimagining waste, we can reshape our world. Refresh our souls, renew our minds and refill our hearts.
With over 30 years as a professional graphic designer, I now use my creative skills to turn discarded materials into what I call a beautiful mess — vibrant artworks that challenge, inspire, and heal. This process invites others to engage, especially those who may not see themselves as artists, offering space to breathe, to connect with their inner gifts, and to become co-creators in a sustainable future.
My goal is simple but bold: to make art accessible to all, while inspiring a new generation of rescuers and reshapers. Through sustainable art therapy, we can reshape hearts and minds — and in doing so, rebuild the fabric of our communities and the planet.
