Sustain Sunshine Market in Lahaina on Maui

Donation protected
Aloha, my name is Kabba Anand. I live on Maui and am helping friends who were impacted by the Lahaina fire get back on their feet.
Elle Geary is a local health care provider who built "Sunshine Market Maui" in 2021. The shop was across from the famous Banyan Tree and the first to carry 100% locally made and sustainable goods. Through the store, she supported the livelihood of over 80 local artists and makers. She was there 7 days a week building a community hub. She was alone in the store the night of the fire 8/8/23. She stayed in town to help resuscitate injured Maui firefighters and help direct traffic and evacuate more people from Lahaina. Elle lost her shop, her condo, and her vehicle during the Maui fires. Funds will be immediately directed to pay local suppliers and to pay for things like housing, transportation and other necessities as she rebuilds her life on Maui.
